Category Specialist Earthmoving Machines

Are you ready to help shape and grow one of our most dynamic product groups? As our Category Specialist you will play a key role in strengthening the Earth Moving Machines category. You’ll support the Category Development Manager by ensuring product data accuracy, conducting market and competitor research, coordinating with teams across product content, marketing, and supply chain, and contributing to promotional planning and execution.
Your insights and hands-on support will help drive smooth category operations, strong commercial performance, and informed decision-making. You will work with product data, follow market and customer trends, and help build and execute lifecycle strategies across the product group.
Your role
Contribute to achieving category goals within the overall category plan, in line with purchasing and sales strategy for Earth Moving Machines.
Prepare analyses and reports on commercial trends, product performance, and market insights to support data-driven decisions.
Create and optimize online product content—such as titles and descriptions—ensuring accuracy and SEO best practices.
Monitor and analyze product performance throughout the lifecycle while staying up to date on market and competitor developments to keep the product range competitive.
Review existing processes and propose improvements that increase efficiency and add value to category operations.
Build strong working relationships across teams and provide reliable, high-quality support with guidance from senior colleagues.
Prepare and organize complex documents, consolidating data for presentations, performance reviews, and reports.
Provide input and analysis for business case development and evaluation.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to apply this knowledge to support category goals.
Able to adapt communication to different audiences and share information clearly and proactively.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Takes ownership, meets commitments, and follows a structured approach to solving problems.
Experience in the earthmoving segment is considered an asset
Process-oriented thinker who continuously looks for ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
Comfortable working in cross-functional and multinational teams.
